The 1×4 Fiber-optic Rotary Joint is used to send the light coming from a single optical fiber to 4 different regions on a moving animal via separate optical fibers. The fixed side consists of an FC receptacle and the rotating side of the joint is a 4-way optical connector specially developed for this application. A patch cord with a specific small footprint four-fiber connector designed to minimize the size and the inertia of the rotor is essential to the use of this rotary joint.
Notes:
• A compatible holder is included with the 1×4 Fiber-optic Rotary Joint (Holder_FRJ_large).
• One four-fold branching output patch cord is included. Contact us if spare patch cords are required to connect at the bottom of your 1×4 Fiber-optic Rotary Joint.
• An optional gimbal holder can be used to pivot and rotate the rotary joint around an axis (GH_FRJ).
