The post surgery fluid injection requires the use of an [external micro-injector needle, or injector](http://doriclenses.com/life-sciences/mono-opto-fluid-cannula/933-omfc-fluid-injector.html),pre-loadedwithpharmacologicalagents,virusesorplasmids.Thefluiddeliverycanstartwheninjectorisfullyinsertedintothecannulaguidingtube.Thefluidinjectorconsistsof1.25mmferruleandcorrespondingsleeveconnector.ThecannulaincludesaplugwithZFsleevetofilltheguidingtubewhenthemicro-injectorisnotinplace.Theplugis100µm longer than the guiding tube protrusion.
